I created this website for a Code Louisville project I did many years ago. The objective was to learn how to become a full stack web developer. It was a three month onsite weekly course with standup meetings. The program is run through a mentorship with instructors already working in various IT related fields.
The creation of this website also coincided with my transition from IT operations and support, to software QA. Now I host and maintain this site to document my journey with Quality Assurance, and highlight my many years supporting technology and data.
Currently tasked with managing three offshore QA resources and implementing front end automated testing. This includes seven separate buiness units with an ecommerce presence of 17 websites. Backend testing includes a proprietary order processing system that allows orders to route between different manufacturing facilities throughout the US.
Work directly with developers and programmers in an Agile environment. Responsible for the creation of test plans and project trackers, to include sanity and regression testing. Implented test case management tools for organization and bug tracking.
Led the technical support team in all areas of troubleshooting, maintaining, and implementing support between the users and developers. Worked closing with developers and programmers, implementing changes to procedures and processes.
